I just want to tell you how awesome the Loony Spoons are.
Today I fished off the coast of San Francisco with 19 other anglers. We fished for King Salmon. The day started slow with everyone trolling with anchovies. The guys hooked a couple but fishing very spotty. I knew the Looney spoon had worked for me in Canada and Alaska so I had faith in using them.

I put one on a three inch purple UV glow, not one minute after dropping it down, BANG!! Fish on! 10 minutes later a 30 lb King in the net. The day continued slow for the other guys but for me Fish on again and again!

I had even the Skipper asking to buy some from me. I finished with 6 salmon landed! Four other guys were happy that I hooked so many.

Your spoons have consistently out-performed all others for me for the last 2.5 years. So much so, that the other brands of spoons that I have on board have become decoration as opposed to ever being used.

I have found Spirit Lures Loony Spoons design to be very effective for consistently catching king salmon. It has been my primary salmon spoon for years. They work well at all speeds, keep their shape under stress and the paint and lure tape are very durable too.

I have been purchasing these great Loony lures from you folks for several years now and turning my friends onto them because quite frankly they work when other lures don't.

I was trolling at 4 km/h and the depth was about 40 meters. This is a rare fish, Alpine Char (lake trout), it's rare to see fish of this size. Usually the trout are around 40/50 cm. This one is 62 cm long. I am very happy, I just wish my Dad had been with me, but we are already making plans.

We started with plugs and no luck after 2 hours. Switched to the Loony Spoon and - BOOM - within 5 minutes we had our first salmon! Total 16 fish - including two 26” keepers!

These lures out fish the others in my tackle box. Great for salmon and trout!
